Our consultants in Hong Kong recently provided an excellent, face-to-face service for a valued client based there. The client’s London apartment in the Beaufort Park Colindale area was furnished to their specifications within half a day and then viewed by prospective tenant who made an offer on the spot.
The incredible success story began when the client was referred to me by the customer service unit at developer St. George. As the client was based in Hong Kong, I took the opportunity to engage our consultants there so that the client could communicate their wishes in their own time zone, local language and at their own convenience. It ensured a smooth process from start to finish that was both pleasurable and profitable for the client. They were instantly able to cover the furnishing costs as the tenant who let their property signed a three-year contract at the full asking rental price.
The property was a large studio apartment in the Beaufort Park Colindale area of London. The design team decided to make the reception room the focal point balancing the darker and lighter colours throughout to keep the flow of the space harmonious. A grey sofa and patterned blue rug were chosen for the centerpiece in the living area and the theme was carried throughout. Where cool blues and refined greys were used in the living room, the bedroom was warmed with dark reds to add depth and distinction. Glass furniture was deliberately selected to keep a sense of space and light throughout.
All of the mood boards, furnishings and colour schemes were discussed with the client in Hong Kong by our consultants on the ground with the paperwork being completed there also at the convenience of the client. I also made contact with a lettings agency in London on behalf of the client to ensure no time was wasted bringing the property to market once it had been furnished. The client, Mr. Bosco Cheung, was utterly delighted with our end-to-end service. He commented:
