Sovereign Court, Glenthorne Road
InStyle Direct’s Senior Interior Designer, Rose Deeb project managed this unique two-bedroom refurbishment, interior architecture and window dressing project. The private client at the St George’s Sovereign Court development desired window dressings to match their existing neutral interior scheme. This was achieved with statement feature walls including artful wallpaper, coving and panelling throughout.
Moulding details were added in the lounge to add intrigue to the walls in the living area that were otherwise kept plain to let the teal blue sofa absorb the limelight. Moulding was also added to the staircase for an instant nod to art deco, while retaining a clean and simple look.
The team worked closely with the client providing refurbishment and makeover ideas to fine-tune all rooms’, including the bathroom with a fun jellyfish ceiling. The project ran smoothly from conception to execution.
“This was a special project for Instyle Direct as we were heavily involved in architectural details that require thinking outside the box. We had to maximise the design for the biggest impact.”
