St John's Wood Terrace
Full refurbishment programme in St John's Wood Terrace, London, NW8
When we refurbished a Grade II listed Victorian family home in St John's Wood, the finished property was transformed and subsequently let to an executive from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for a rental of £1,175 per week - £450 per week more than our client's previous tenant had paid.
The three bedroom, two bathroom property looked tired after years of being rented out so we installed a luxury family bathroom, master ensuite and cloakroom. We redecorated throughout, laid new carpets and oak flooring and fitted silk blinds and curtains. And we built a beautiful, new conservatory.
But the piece de resistance was the kitchen - we knocked through to the utility room creating a large kitchen and dining area, with doors leading onto the patio. High gloss units, granite effect work surfaces and stainless steel appliances and fittings create an ultra-modern but comfortable living space.
The owner (an overseas investor) was delighted with the increased rental and the contemporary transformation his rental property was given.
