Mark is a driving force in our sales team with a growing portfolio of clients, ranging from private individuals looking for bespoke home design services to property developers, letting and estate agents and investor landlords looking for furnishing packs and dress to sell services.
Customer care is a key part of Mark's role and he prides himself on his ability to assess a client's requirements, liaising with the design team to offer stylish but functional design solutions. What he loves most about the job is the sheer variety of people he meets. One minute he can be talking to a major property developer, the next it could be a private client using the services of an interior designer for the first time.
Mark has a strong property background, having been a manager in an estate agency earlier in his career. This, combined with his more recent interiors experience is invaluable in helping him understand the needs of his clients.

As a business development associate with InStyle Direct, Lewis focuses on creating and building successful working relationships with clients, from major, national property developers and smaller private developers to landlords, lettings and real estate agents. His key focus is to provide a seamless, professional service for clients, working closely with them throughout a project to ensure the final interior fulfils their brief and is delivered on time and on budget.
"Each project is so different and I love seeing the possibilities," he says. "Every time I walk into a property my inspiration changes as each is so different, from how much light comes in to its size and layout. Every property has its own 'USPs' and I love working with the client to bring out its potential."
Amar joined InStyle Direct in 2007 and works with clients ranging from property developers to private individuals and landlords. A key part of his role is to liaise with clients and develop a real understanding of their requirements, whether they are looking for simple furnishings or a full refurbishment project. Amar can advise on the best solutions for the property in terms of design and cost, whether it is a showhome, a rental apartment or a private property. He then liaises with the company's designers who will translate this brief into a working design. Amar oversees all the refurbishment projects and works closely with all staff from our architect and interior designers to the plummers and builders.
With a managerial career background in the fashion business, Amar enjoys the creative side of his role. He particularly likes working on refurbishment projects which give him the opportunity to combine his creative side with the challenge of reconfiguring an older property.
