Furniture is More Than Just Aesthetics…

At InStyle Direct, we understand furniture doesn't just fill a room, but it shapes an accommodation into a personal sanctuary, a dignified space where people can exist as their true selves and rebuild their lives. That's why, over the past few months, we've been proud to work alongside Furnishing Futures, a charity dedicated to creating fully furnished, healing homes for domestic abuse survivors. Our journey started with a Christmas donation that turned into a meaningful commitment where we are now furnishing the very first social home for domestic abuse survivors. Here's our collaboration story so far…

A Christmas Donation to Their Warehouse

We donated over 41 items – a collection of furniture items and accessories – with a combined retail value of more than £14,000 to Furnishing Future’s warehouse. These items will be used to furnish future homes or sold in their warehouse shop.

Launching Our Fundraising Campaign in January

Following our Christmas donation, we launched a fundraising campaign to help furnish and transform an unfurnished social housing property into a safe, comfortable home for a family fleeing domestic abuse. Gearing Up to Furnish the First Social Home in March

In March, we will be furnishing our first social home, giving survivors an opportunity to feel excited about stepping into a new home again that is thoughtfully furnished safe, considered and truly theirs.

How You Can Help

InStyle Direct’s Director, Mansi Mehra, joined InStyle Direct in 2007 after completing an MA in International Business. Having worked in every department at InStyle Direct, including accounts, logistics and design, Mansi has intimate insight into all aspects of the business.

Mansi collects meaningful pieces from her world travels to adorn her London family home. She also enjoys repurposing vintage furniture and adding value pieces with character. These interests, combined with an identified gap in the luxury market, led to the birth of InStyle’s high-end, bespoke services that operate under Ani M interiors.

Mansi fosters an inclusive, creative environment for staff in the London-based open-plan Head Office, where the sales, marketing and design departments are based. Mansi explores all forms of wellness – mental, physical, and dietary- extending to the well-being culture she created at InStyle Direct.
