We understand that AI can speed up the visualisation process, but the real value is how that speed helps a client. For example: more time focused on the expertise, judgement and physical delivery that turn an idea into a commercial result. At Heron Wharf, an AI-generated image quickly showed how additional styling could elevate an already-furnished one-bedroom apartment.
Within 24 hours, our team had translated that concept into reality using existing stock, delivering, installing, dressing and professionally photographing the apartment ready for market. The apartment was let within 24 hours at the highest asking rent achieved in the development to date, giving the investor more, faster, without unnecessary upgrades or a new procurement process.
The initial requirement was an investor furniture package, with options both with and without accessories. The challenge was to create a contemporary, well-presented apartment that would work for the buy-to-let market while standing out among similar units completing within the same development.
Once the apartment was furnished, the letting agents saw an opportunity to give the property an additional visual push. They shared AI-generated imagery showing how the same apartment could look with accessories and styling added with the aim of creating a more distinctive presentation and supporting a higher asking rent.
The AI image provided a visual reference for what the apartment could look like with an additional layer of styling. What it couldn't do was tell us what we already had in stock, what could realistically be sourced and installed inside a day, or how to turn a still image into a finished, photographed, market-ready apartment. That part rested entirely on our team.
Our designer, Damini, treated the AI image as a reference point rather than a specification. She worked out how to achieve the look it showed using accessories we already had available, which meant no new procurement process and no delay waiting on deliveries.
The living area was given additional character through cushions, artwork, plants and decorative accessories, while the bedroom and dining area were styled to create a more complete, lived-in feel. The apartment was dressed within 24 hours of the AI image arriving, then presented and professionally photographed ready to go to market the same day.
Interpreting a concept against real stock, consolidating everything required, and then delivering, installing, dressing, presenting and photographing an apartment inside 24 hours is not something an AI image can do on its own. That combination of infrastructure, stock and hands-on expertise is what turned a picture into a rented property.

AI can make the visualisation stage quicker, giving everyone a clear sense of what's possible in minutes rather than days. That speed frees our team to spend their time where it matters most, sourcing the right pieces from stock, making fast decisions on what will work in the space, and physically delivering, installing and presenting the finished result.
