InStyle Direct has successfully delivered many projects at Koa House on Electric Boulevard, part of the prestigious Battersea Power Station development, both with the developer and private owners. When a homeowner approached us to transform their space into an elegant yet homelike second home in London, we focused on tailoring to the client while considering investment potential.

A Holiday Home With Investment Potential
Second residences should generally consider occupier taste, guest usability, and investment potential. This challenged us to balance liveability for multiple-use with potential investment impact, all while keeping costs in check and ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.

A Thoughtful Mix of Furniture Packages
Solving challenges through innovative solutions is central to InStyle’s approach, and this project is a perfect example of our combined design and business mindset. Interior designer Emma styled the residence using the Diamond Package, with select Gold Package pieces and outsourced items that seamlessly complement the overall design while optimising costs. Bold statement pieces were softened with layered textures such as throws, cushions, rugs, and woven fabrics to create a warm, lived-in appeal ideal for both everyday living and hosting guests.
We achieved a fully tailored look by mixing the packages and bespoke items while keeping costs at a minimum without compromising quality.

The Result: Elegant Second Home with Investment Potential
By adopting two distinctive furniture packages, we created a custom look that serves as a comfortable holiday retreat for the owner and their friends and family, while also offering a strong future investment opportunity. This unique cohesion was noted by the client, who deemed our broad skillset a necessity for the purpose. By delivering multi-purpose curated interiors, our team demonstrated how modern design elevates Battersea’s industrial heritage, even on a budget.
