Every InStyle Direct PBSA furniture package is specified with these standards in mind, with relevant certification provided where required.

We work to your project timeline, coordinating procurement, delivery and installation around construction programmes, summer rollouts and between-term refreshes. With an in-house fleet and a 10,000 sq ft London warehouse, we can support phased installations and large-scale furnishing programmes while helping ensure schemes are ready for student occupation.

PBSA studios and cluster flats have different furniture requirements. PBSA studios are self-contained setups combining sleeping, studying and storage within one space, while cluster flats require furniture for both private bedrooms and shared living areas. In both cases, furniture must be durable, space-efficient and suitable for student living.

PBSA is furnished at scale, often hundreds of beds to one Crib 5-compliant specification with a single building-wide summer turnaround. HMOs are converted residential houses, typically four to eight beds, furnished property by property, often with fire safety compliance retrofitted rather than designed in from the start.

Our asset management system uses barcoded inventory tracking to help monitor furniture across PBSA schemes and support efficient replacement planning. Combined with our aftercare service, this helps operators maintain consistent standards across high-turnover accommodation and large portfolios.

We support PBSA operators with durable furniture specifications, responsible disposal practices and project-level ESG reporting.
