InStyle Direct completed an impressive transformation for this lived-in property that would ensure a good ROI for the landlord by securing a tenant quickly.

The desirable Sloane square location did not match the lack of interest the landlord received for his rental property. We, therefore, suggested a white gold furnishing pack and renovation and restoration services such as tile replacement. These small refurbishment improvements made a big difference to the property without the associated expenditure of such a stark aesthetic and functional improvement.

The brighter, cleaner, modernised flat helped the property secure immediate tenancy after works, minimising the void period for the client.

A VIP overseas client onboarded InStyle Direct to design and furnish a luxury 3-bed apartment at Matcham House Sovereign in the desirable Zone 2 as a family home. Our Homeowner Package was chosen to furnish the spacious apartment, with a few custom modifications made per the client’s request.

InStyle’s designers ensured that the client’s goal of achieving a house that exuded timeless elegance in an urban ambience was met through best-in-class interior design services, which included tailored mood boards, the finest wallpapering, fitted furniture, new flooring under our refurbishment services division and outdoor furnishings.

Upon the client’s request, interior designer Ifrah Buraleh and Sales manager James McNeill chose colours per their preference; however, there was a consistent idea to use neutral tones throughout the apartment. The brief also included a small note to ensure a bright shade for the lounge sofa — which was successfully delivered.

Ifrah chose accent colours of mustard and brass gold in the living room and an abundance of luxurious textures like marble, textured wall coverings and premium velvet upholstery in the bedrooms. The master bedroom, moreover, was designed with a tranquil neutral colour scheme that allowed the stunning detailed headboard to take centre stage.

The InStyle team was in constant touch with the client and, at his request, replaced the bedroom’s carpet flooring with wooden flooring that matched the lounge and hallway.

Furnishing, bespoke joinery design and decoration were completed throughout this luxurious new build apartment. We utilised a bolder colour palette, from the warm neutral tones in the bedrooms to the rich mustard in the living room. The living room combines dark and moody elements, such as the feature of dark oak joinery, with contrast added through the lighter furnishings. The second and third bedrooms are designed with a neutral backdrop of charcoal grey, giving off a cosy cocoon feel.

After purchasing a property in Point West, our client wanted to substantially upgrade his two-bedroom, 973 sq. ft apartment. Although in need of a thorough update that required heavy refurbishment work, the client was sold by the property’s potential and proximity to South Kensington’s fantastic amenities.

The brief was for the InStyle team to refurbish the apartment and interior design the home using classic upgrades and a timeless palette, full of texture and fashion influences.

The owner was encouraged by our team to divide the kitchen and living room areas for functional and aesthetic benefits. Initially, the client did not want partitioning as one of his main purchasing decisions was based on the open-plan design that provided the illusion of more space. Our best-of-both-worlds solution was a crittall-style glass partition with a sliding transparent door. This required permission from the building manager that the team managed on the client’s behalf.

As well as a clear number of benefits of the crittall door partitioning, each room was able to have its own character which enables interior designer Samera to get particularly creative. Samera included small yet powerful, thoughtful details, like high-quality hardware finishes to give context to the various patterns and colours that the team employed.

This full, bespoke refurbishment and interior design project also included new wood flooring, full rewiring with spotlights and chandelier, built-in kitchen partition, full redecoration, bespoke furniture, curtains and built-in wardrobes. By liaising with the building manager on our client’s behalf, we were also able to obtain the permissions required for AC installation. We also dealt directly with the AC contractor until the installation was complete.

A London landlord was struggling to rent their rundown flat due to its tired appearance, general wear and tear, and numerous damages from almost ten years of tenancy.

The property’s poor condition, paired with the competition of a new neighbouring development, called for renovation services and new furniture and furnishings to make it rentable.

Refurbishment works included painting and wallpapering, retrofitting, carpet & floor fitting, partial tile replacement, regrouting cleaning and re-equipping.

A gold furniture pack was used to differentiate the flat in a competitive market and area. Accessories were used to add a homely feel many tenants look for.

We made a real visual and quantifiable difference to this North-London property in a short time frame for a far lower cost than the landlord had envisioned. The flat received an instant rental offer of £70 per month more than the flat has previously rented.

Ani M by InStyle Direct conducted a full and extensive refurbishment for a London apartment in West Hampstead.

The high-end refurbishment for the semi-detached Victorian house was renovated in a period-appropriate fashion while maximising space with a fresh, contemporary approach.

The overseas client needed their newly-purchased holiday home to be stripped back to its shell, fire-safe, rewired and replastered, with new flooring, heating and plumbing installed, finishes with the finest interior design. The client instilled full trust in the InStyle Direct team to manage the entire project from afar.

The team selected colour and patterns that provided a neoclassical feel. The crisp white colour scheme was accented with navy blue; noted on the upholstery of living area sofa and clever touches throughout the space such as the patterned fabric of the chairs and objets d’art on the shelves, mantelpiece and tables.

As the dining and kitchen area share an open plan space, it was important for the interior design to make each area feel separate yet in harmony. The sweeping clean lines of the Italian dining table and chairs, sideboard and coffee table link the areas while maximising space.

Careful consideration was given to the window dressings. For the window overlooking the kitchen, a simple, fabric blind allows for privacy and everyday usage while the window overlooking the dining area was dressed in swathes of matching fabric for a grand statement.

A chandelier serves as the focal point to the room without cluttering the floor space; its gleaming glass arms bounce sunlight around the space helping it to feel large and airy.

The colour scheme of white, navy blue and fawn continues into the bedroom to create a sense of harmony throughout the apartment and help the space to feel larger. Bespoke wardrobes were handmade to complement the bedside tables sourced by our furnishing specialists in keeping with the neoclassical aesthetic.

The beds and windows in the bedrooms were dressed sumptuously to create a sense of comfort and luxury. A special, narrow radiator was sourced to fit beneath the near floor to ceiling Victorian-style sash windows.

The clever interior design maximised the space while creating the perfect balance between period and modern architecture. The clients were delighted with the result and the smooth workflow, irrespective of the distance and time difference.

Appointed by developer Barratt London, InStyle Direct was briefed to create a welcoming and modern concierge area in this new development located in Harrow surrounded by thriving town centre.

The project involved designing a bespoke concierge desk to and waiting area that was aesthetically pleasing and practical in equal measures.

Turquoise accents were chosen to match the development’s logo to ensure the area was on-brand and recognisable
