Over the years, InStyle Direct has led many furnishing and interior projects across Berkeley’s White City Living development, earning the trust of both the developer and investors. InStyle has furnished units for the developer to push sales and furnished rental units to help investors minimise void periods by generating good, fast returns.
Our newest work at White City Living is housed in Reflection Apartments, where we’ve already furnished Show homes for the developer. Our furniture packages were used to provide three units, all sitting within the ‘Reflection Collection’ of the Cascades buildings. High-quality yet affordable solutions instantly showed the potential of the new units, leading to three immediate rents secured, as discussed later in the article.

The Challenge

Our client needed to furnish three adjacent units to achieve a rapid turnaround on lettings despite marketing efforts beginning before furniture installation. With void periods directly impacting return on investment, InStyle Direct ensured that a speedy, strong interest in furnished apartments was generated when cheaper, comparable units were unfurnished.

High-Calibre Tenants: Two units were taken by staff from the Taiwanese embassy, with the third secured by a Japanese corporate client, succeeding in appealing to professional and diplomatic markets.
