The Background

A homeowner contacted our team for their new home on Prince of Wales Drive, which is part of Battersea's luxury residential development. The client requested a bright, modern space with neutral colours and an interior design that would remain timeless, while also embodying their taste. The two-bedroom apartment boasted contemporary architecture with considerable potential for improvement.

The Challenge

Our team was tasked with creating a stylish yet comfortable space that perfectly suited their exuberant lifestyle. As young professionals seeking a home that reflected their urban London lifestyle, we got to know the couple extremely well to ensure we designed a home with soul to match their energy. To achieve this, our team aimed to develop a soulful design featuring cohesive and timeless elements.

Our Approach

Our interior designer, Severina, chose elements that would seamlessly enhance the property’s appeal. The wall panelling and fitted mirrors set the tone for the entire space. The bespoke installations added visual depth, reflected natural light, and created a sense of comfort and warmth.

The living room, which features an elegant coffee table, a soft sectional sofa with accent cushions, and a textured rug, adds warmth to the space. The dining area receives similar treatment with complementary colours and fabrics, and a stunning pearl-shaped pendant lighting creates just the right ambience for dining and entertainment.

Both bedrooms were given their own distinct personality. Bedroom one showcases a coordinated headboard and bed base fabric with feature wallpaper, wood details, and carefully selected cushion and curtain fabric. Bedroom two, striking 3D panels, feature wallpaper, and everything from wardrobe finishes to bedside details and pendant lighting for a cohesive look.

The window treatment in the living room features double pinch pleat voile that filters light while maintaining an airy feel and preserving privacy. Similarly, both bedrooms have curtains with blackout lining, providing the flexibility to let light filter in beautifully during the day and create the perfect sleep environment.

The streamlined approach from our designer, Severina and project manager, Mark, kept everything running smoothly and ensured the client had an “amazing experience.”

Our team delivered a complete personalised service and achieved the client’s vision of a modern, bright space with neutral colours, and received a glorious 10/10 review from the client.

Long-Term Impact

The bespoke hallway features, coordinated colour schemes, and various materials throughout the space are both cohesive and timeless.
