As their trusted design partner, developer Far East Consortium Management Ltd reached out to us to furnish another show home at their Aspen development, a prominent development in Canary Wharf. The goal was to design a space that stands out in a competitive market, enabling buyers to visualise their lifestyles and supporting sales.

As a newly built one-bed show home, the property offered many design opportunities but needed to demonstrate how the space could be used. The challenge was to realise the property’s full potential by utilising its layout, with thoughtful furnishings and strategic design solutions to bring out its best features.

More than just welcoming interiors, the developers needed a sales tool that performed. The design needed to be a balance of warmth and personality while resonating with a wide audience and showing the potential to investors.

We aimed to create a modern space with subtle hints of luxury. A soft, neutral colour palette worked as the base, creating an open & brighter atmosphere, with pops of colour, textures, and statement pieces enhancing the contemporary comfort appeal.

How Was The Layout Challenge Resolved & How Was It Staged?

The layout was carefully organised into entertainment, work area, kitchen, and dining nook, unified by a cohesive design that brought balance and a seamless finish.

We placed a soft neutral sofa paired with textured cushions in warm tones of peach, beige, and muted blue in the living area, accompanied by a sleek black coffee table and geometric artwork, which added structure and modernity.

Making smart use of the layout, we placed a functional workstation just behind the sofa, keeping it in the same cohesive colour tones. For the dining nook, earthy-toned tableware with golden accents elevated everyday elegance.

How We Style the Bedroom?

The bedroom was designed as a calm and welcoming retreat. A taupe upholstered headboard set the foundation, framed by bedside tables topped with warm amber lamps. Rust, black, and soft velvet cushions enhanced the visual depth, while textured throws added to the feeling of comfort.

How Did Window Treatment Help?

In the living sheer window dressing softens the natural lighting, while in the bedroom, full-length fabric curtains allow privacy and a framed view of the city – this combination adds sophistication while maintaining warmth.
