Having worked with Berkeley Group across multiple divisions and developments, the sales and marketing team at Berkeley commissioned InStyle Direct to furnish their show flat in Hampton Tower, South Quay Plaza. Despite the tight three-week time frame, a show-stopping flagship property was delivered ahead of schedule to drive sales across the whole scheme.

The one-bedroom flat’s furnishing perfectly complemented Hampton Tower’s sleek and contemporary design. It was essential that we highlighted the apartment’s superb potential as a rental investment, located at the heart of the Docklands financial district. By showcasing the flat’s rentability factor, we helped keep the developers’ mission to speed up the sale of other units firmly on track.

An upgraded Gold furniture package gave the apartment a touch of sophistication and understated elegance that works particularly well with smaller properties that cannot appear too fussy or cluttered. The package was then adapted with upgrades such as made-to-measure window dressings to utilise the unit’s natural light. Interior Designer, Rianne, also provided assistance on other interior design aspects, suggesting feature walls and suitable colour codes that would work well with the furniture and unit’s dimensions.

The furniture size and style was a key consideration for this one-bed property that had to appear spacious without looking bare, which is always an exciting challenge!

Rianne Blake, Interior Designer at InStyle Direct

The client was notably impressed by the quick turnaround and high standard of work achieved by the InStyle Direct team and expressed complete satisfaction with the project’s outcome.

– Berkeley

InStyle Direct worked on a vital, multi-scale project in Greenwich Square’s newest collection of new builds in The Courtyard. Three apartments were transformed into inside-outside show homes to generate interest among investors, landlords and tenants. Special emphasis was placed on enhancing the apartments’ outside balconies which overlook a stunningly attractive series of central green spaces, pivotal to the development.

All three apartments have generously proportioned balconies that serve either as living room extensions, entertaining spaces and viewing platforms, so the team wanted to make sure they created outside spaces to facilitate all possible functions. The balcony areas were roomy enough to accommodate further embellishments.

The balcony layouts were also of particular importance as they could also clearly be seen from both inside of the property through the full-height windows, so to help the interior and exterior furniture need to flow, the bespoke window dressings were intentionally minimal.

The White Diamond furnishing pack was chosen by interior designer, Severina for its harmony with the surrounding greenery and neutral base which the team could build and expand.

The team was allocated a 4-5 week slot to complete the 2 and 3-bedroom units, which meant a lot of space had to be covered in a short window but, as always, completed the project to an impeccable standard with time to spare.

I opted for soft furnishings that provided an earthy, yet still vibrant contrast, using well-coordinated splashes of green, brown and blue. Further colour pops came in the form of ergonomically shaped side tables and tableware.

A successful working relationship with leading London property developer, Berkeley, as well as proven results with showrooms as an invaluable sales tool, lead to another show home at the Royal Arsenal Riverside development.

InStyle’s Senior Interior Designer Severina Oborotova and Property Development Manager Lewis worked together to create a striking, two-bedroom apartment as a means of boosting interest and promoting sales.

Having completed numerous furniture pack installs for the developers, the team was familiar with the layout and plot and able to efficiently tailor a location and development-suitable solution in keeping with the striking exterior of this riverside development.

Severina opted for the Champagne Diamond package. This option gives the apartment the ideal combination of sophisticated opulence and subtle luxury, needed in order to stand out in an understated, tasteful manner.

The muted pastel shades and high-end fabrics in the Champagne Diamond range, perfectly complement the oak flooring and white walls of the apartment, giving it a thoroughly modern look that remains open to further refinement and customisation.

A curved, sand-coloured sofa provides an eye-catching focus to the apartment that was enhanced with splashes of vibrant green, blue and gold in the form of luxury cushions, artwork and hand-picked accessories.

I enhanced the property with a window dressing upgrade, using bespoke curtains and voiles – essential for a property with such an expansive riverside view.

As official design partners to Berkeley, InStyle Direct met both the budget and the allocated three-week time slot.

InStyle Direct furnished 20 properties at Royal Mint Gardens for a group of investors. The outstanding luxury apartments by Farrells property developers needed to channel the same visionary architecture, contemporary design and accentuate the spectacular views.

It was imperative that the interior design and furnishing solutions provided a good return on investment, given many of the properties were purchased for rental purposes. Therefore, selecting the correct furniture pack for each unit, dependent on its market value, was essential. Hence, also providing Diamond furniture packs for units falling into the higher price bracket.

Window dressings were essential to draw attention to the scenic views looking over Tower Bridge and the Tower of London Dwellings. The street’s history as the Royal Mint of the early 19th century is reflected in the colour palette chosen for the luxurious interiors.

I selected a mix of White Gold and Rose Gold colour schemes to furnish the more affordable units in a cost-effective manner, while maintaining the InStyle Direct standard expected by the development’s affluent tenants.

Kate McLure, Project Sales Manager at London Square was over the moon when a show flat furnished by InStyle Direct, led to a sale in just 3 DAYS. London Square was quick to provide a sterling review.

InStyle Direct fully furnished and dressed one of our remaining units to push its sale. Within just 3 days after a quick installation (made possible using their stock furniture), the unit sold within The Crosse development in Bermondsey.

– Kate McLure, Project Sales Manager, London Square

The two-bedroom flat was created to exude South London coolness in the desirable Zone 1 location. It was essential that InStyle Direct met the developer’s goal of selling the remaining apartment in the shortest possible time – A goal we exceeded.

A Diamond furniture pack was chosen to give the apartment an extra air of opulence and exclusivity to meet the prospective buyer’s expectations. The package was subsequently tailored for the developer and the unit’s unique needs with upgrades such as extra curtains and outsourced accessories. Severina also offered advice on other interior design aspects, such as a complementary feature wall colour, as part of the professional service.

Our aim was to increase the impact of the property through thoughtful, tailored solutions to the layout, furniture, furnishings, window dressings and accessories, all of which showed the property’s full potential.

InStyle Direct will now furnish another unit where London Square anticipates the same success!

In a bid to push the sale of their remaining properties, Property developer, St William, came to InStyle Direct, where we recommended a two-bedroom show apartment in Alington House. The remaining units quickly sold shortly after the showroom installation, thanks to the invaluable sales tool!

Designed to meticulous specifications, the homes throughout the Clarendon development provide an eye-catching blend of contemporary comfort and urban style: part of the new wave of creative energy that is revitalising North London. Maggie, the interior designer for the project, brought the same energy to the property, using fitting accessories and furnishings.

A well-dressed show flat is an essential sales tool for developers as it provides prospective buyers with an indication of the space they have to work with. This is why a property-appropriate layout by an interior designer is so important. It’s often the difference between being snapped up immediately or left on the market for months. We were quick to suggest a suitable furnishing package that would complement the apartment to encourage sales.

The white gold furniture package was chosen for its relatively lighter components, best suited to the somewhat restricted dimensions of the property. In the living area, a 2.5 seat sofa and armchair were used to provide more dining space. Additionally, a window in the master bedroom was offset by a strategically placed collage.

Design-led furniture packages are particularly useful for developers who need to transform restricted spaces into liveable ones. Our interior designer Maggie Halsackda’s ability to meet this challenge within a tight two-week schedule and with minimum disruption was an integral part of the project’s success.

St William was delighted with the quick installation and quick sale of their remaining unit, as a result of timely project coordination.

InStyle Direct is super efficient and catered to all requests and changes. The team is very friendly and very knowledgeable on the ever-changing interior trends.

– Georgia Willis, St William

InStyle’s Director, Mansi Mehra transformed this spacious apartment into a sophisticated, timeless residence, sourcing the finest furnishings, fixtures and accessories.

From artisan light fittings to innovative storage units, everything in the apartment is built to stand the test of time – functionally and stylistically.

Abstract art cleverly juxtaposes the more classical elements seen in the window dressing and wallpaper choices.

I wanted to create a home that truly reflected the client’s personality and the way they use their home for work and play.

This North-West London flat underwent a drastic makeover with InStyle Direct’s quick-fix refurbishment services and a furniture package that resulted in a great return.

The landlord wanted to ensure the best return possible, so InStyle Direct recommended our gold furniture package. The reasonable, entry-level package includes everything necessary to transform a space and make it rentable.

The landlord gained a £200 increase on the monthly rent from the services performed and products used with an agreed rent of £1700 per month, previously let for £1500 per month.

This project goes to show the quantifiable difference that can be achieved in a small amount of time with a small budget..

InStyle Direct achieved an extensive transformation in North London with a small, landlord budget. The owner of this property came to InStyle Direct with one priority: Make the property stand out from the houses in neighbouring developments.

With a good return in mind, InStyle Direct suggested a gold furniture package along with some quick refurbishment fixes that would mean the property was dramatically improved while ensuring it was not off the market for too long.

One of InStyle Direct’s skilled interior designers chose dark blue feature walls to make the property appear more spacious by creating the illusion of vertical height. The deep-coloured accent wall also helped the property to look more inviting and less clinical to attract a good tenant.

As a lot of our work is repeat business and from recommendations, it’s always gratifying to work with new clients and see their faces when we wow with the result that our long-standing clients are familiar with. Exceeding expectations is what we do and continue to do for clients who soon become repeat clients..
