Shoreditch Exchange, Hackney Road
InStyle Direct brought the Shoreditch buzz into this East London pad. Wild animals and the earthy vibes speak to the quicky community.
As home to one of London’s famous flower markets, a botanical element was incorporated into the Shoreditch property through innovative incentives.
The terrace garden forms as the focal piece, connecting the inside and outside. The designer used raw, exposed materials to connotate youthful energy in modern architecture.
My design ethos for this project was raw, earthy and wild; introduced abstractly through furniture and furnishings along with geometric drapes.

We knew the apartment had so much potential and as... read more much as I have good ideas, i felt that I needed some professional help as it had to be exceptional ! I was not disappointed at the results. From discussing the project and site meetings, these guys listened to ideas and then were able to specify everything including all the furniture to the choice of paint & wall paper, down to the last small detail of diffusers, books and even apples in the fruit bowl. During this process, amazing illusttations were created , floor plans and detailed equipment schedules provided so you knew exactly what you were getting . On the day when the install team had finished, Emma had already been there making sure it was all coordinated and completing the finishing touches . I was so genuinely pleased with the results I couldn't hide big smile on my face as this was a bit of dream to do this and sometimes thought I may not do it, Simply walking around the place that afternoon I felt so proud of the outcome and without both these guys efforts delivering this , it would never have looked so good. I almost felt I wasn't good enough even to be it it was that good! Top quality service .Looking forward to taking a few bookings from you guys in the near future !

We originally talked to James as we were looking to furnish our new London apartment while being across the pond in the US.... read more James was extremely helpful, knowledgeable about all his stock and informative through the whole process. We wanted the whole 2 bedroom apartment fully furnished with kitchen ware, bathroom accessories and curtains too with a very quick turnaround as we were coming in for the closing. James and one of his interior designers, Star, walked us through all our options and recommended all the colours and designs. The end result was stunning and we could not have been happier with the way the apartment looked. The price was reasonable and the furniture was exceptional!
